Navy Health will send your Private Health Insurance tax statement direct to the ATO.
This financial year (2025-2026) Navy Health will send your health insurance tax statement directly to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
You can also find your tax statement in your Inbox when you log into the Navy Health Member Portal and Mobile app Inbox from 12th July 2026.
Accessing your statement in the Navy Health Member Portal
1. Log into Member Portal – Go to the Member Portal via this link or click on ‘Members Login’ at the top of every page
2. Enter your log in details or register if you do not have an account.

3. Once logged in, you can view your statement in your Member Inbox either on the home screen located here:
Or by clicking on ‘Inbox’ on the left hand side of the screen.
4. In your inbox click on ‘2026 Tax Statement’.
5. From here you can view, download and print your statement.
Accessing your statement in the Mobile app
1. Open your Navy Health Mobile App
2. Once logged in, you can view your statement in your Member Inbox. You can access this via the home screen, located in the bottom, right hand corner.

Or by opening the menu via the icon top left of the screen and selecting Inbox.
3. In your Inbox click on ‘2026 Tax Statement’.
4. From here you can view or download your statement.
Reading your Navy Health Tax Statement
Key Dates
30th June 2026 – The official end of the financial year. Navy Health will create your tax statement after this date if you held a hospital policy at any stage in the financial year.
12th July 2026 – Tax statements will be available for you to view in the Navy Health Member Portal & Mobile App.

Why are you not sending the tax statement via email or post?
In line with current legislation, Navy Health no longer issues tax statements by email or post, as we are required to send them to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) directly. The information provided will appear in your digital tax return via the ATO automatically. You can also access a copy via the Member Portal or Mobile App.
The ATO aims to have health fund data available by late July. To see if your policy details have been made available for pre-fill you can check your statement via the myGov website, by going to the myTax section

Why can’t I see my tax statement in the Portal or App?
If your tax statement is not showing in your Navy Health Member Portal or Mobile App, it is after 12 July 2026, and you held an active hospital cover in the 2025/2026 financial year, please call us on 1300 306 289 so we can investigate this for you.

Why does my statement have a zero in section J?
Section J reflects the premiums received towards your Navy Health policy within the financial year. If you’ve paid in advance in previous years, this may result in a zero balance.

Why does the benefit code (section L) shown on the statement differ to what I should be claiming?
Your statement will not show you what level of rebate you’re entitled to. This is because we don’t collect specific information about your income and this will instead be determined by the ATO.
