Our Silver+ Hospital cover option is designed to ensure you’re not paying for services you won’t use. This means some of our more expensive benefits such as joint replacement or pregnancy cover aren’t included. It also comes with a $500 excess to help reduce the cost of your premiums further.

$500 excess makes your premium more affordable
Our Core Silver+ Hospital cover comes with a $500 excess, which helps reduce the cost of your annual premium and applies to the cost of in-patient hospitalisation in either a private, public, or day hospital facility.
The excess applies to the cost of in-patient hospitalisation in either a private, public or day hospital facility. It is payable once per person, per admission, in any rolling 12-month period. The excess does not apply to hospital admissions for dependents.
